The biographical sources used here name George Gergely Merkl Sr., born 29 April 1930 in Budapest, Hungary. His daughter Lisa Merkl’s Find a Grave memorial is the most grounded first-person account in the corpus: revolution, labor camps, escape, U.S. arrival, marriages, and children. Later memorial pages repeat those dates. This archive has not captured a civil birth register.
What this archive can stand behind. This file can show where the name and birth date appear and who wrote them. It cannot substitute a Hungarian civil record. Treat the identity line as consistent testimony, not as a vital-statistics certificate.

Assignees include Merkl himself, Molecular Energy Research Co., Inc., and Merkl Technology, Inc. Three international filings sit beside the U.S. set. US 3,454,914 remains a candidate under review, not counted in the 28.

What this archive can stand behind. The boundary is the legal nature of a patent plus the dated contents of the granted claims. This file will not treat a materials patent as a clinical trial, a species description, or a cosmology proof.

Folder 4. Life Crystals, Chondriana, and Inner Space stay claims

From the late 1970s Merkl described a pivot after a reported terminal-cancer diagnosis, then Life Crystals, Inc., Sumer-Tech Research, ATP/GTP concentrates, Chondriana, and an Inner Space framework. Recordings preserve what he and collaborators said and showed. They do not independently confirm an organism, a clinic network, or a medical result. Organism-level evaluation belongs on the Chondriana dossier, not in this inventor file.
